The low-cal diet

In short, low calorie diet is based on the fact that if you want to lose weight, the important thing to eat fewer calories than your body requires.

Definition of a calorie?
The calorie is the standard unit for energy measurement in dieting. A calorie is the amount of heat required to raise 1 kilogram of water 1 degree centigrade. If a meal has higher calories, then it will provide your body with more energy when your body digests it.

Low calorie foods include boiled potatoes, bell pepper, apricots, steaks and burgers, and bamboo shoots.

1 c Butter Flavor Crisco

2 tb Milk

3/4 c Brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 c Sugar, granulated

1 Egg

1 1/2 ts Vanilla

1 3/4 c Flour, all purpose

1 ts Baking soda

1/2 ts Salt

1 pk White Chocolate baking bar

- 6 ounce package, cut into - 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces 1 c Nuts, coarsely chopped

- almonds, pecans, walnuts - macadamias etc... Preparation Time: 20 Minutes Bake Time: 8 Minutes 1. Heat oven to 375 F.

2. Cream Butter Flavor Crisco and milk in a large bowl at medium

speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add brown and granulated sugar gradually. Beat in egg and vanilla. 3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix

well. Stir in white chocolate and nuts. Drop level measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. 4. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Cool on baking sheet one minute. Remove
