The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system created by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston developed the south beach diet as an aid to patients with heart conditions, based on his analysis of scientific research on other diets.
Examples of good foods include, lean cuts of beef, skinless poultry, prawns, cottage cheese, almonds, lowfat milk and certain vegetables, such as butter beans, cucumbers and snow peas.

1 lb Raspberries fresh

2 1/4 c Claret

2 T Sparkling water

1/3 c Sugar

6 T Sour cream

Run 12 oz of the berries through a blender to puree. Stir in the sugar and claret. Chill well. Just before serving add the sparkling water/club soda and the reserved berries. Serve topped with tablespoon dollop of sour cream.
