The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system started by Cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that one should consume "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston invented his system for people who have cardiac problems, as a result of his detailed analysis of scientific studies on other weight loss regimes.
"good" foods include, canadian bacon, turkey breast, fish, ricotta cheese, peanuts, nonfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, like lentils, lettuce and turnips.

1/4 lb Margarine

1 c Crushed Soda Crackers

1 c Coconut

1 c Chocolate Chips

1 c Chopped nuts (optional)

1 - 15 oz can Sweetened

-Condensed milk Melt the margarine & add soda crackers; spread in a 13"x9" cake pan. Sprinkle coconut, chocolate chips & nuts evenly over it. Pour milk over it & bake in a 350 Degree oven for 20 minutes. Jane P.
