The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi (or glycaemic index) weight loss program is based around the gi index, a list showing food types and an indicator of the ease with which the glucose and energy in the food type gets converted to sugar in the dieters body. The claim is that slow acting food types (ie those foods with a low Gi score), keep you feeling full longer and mean that you can injest less food without starving yourself.
It's also extremeley useful for diabetics, as the low GI food types are helpful in reducing rises in blood sugar levels.

Ingredients And Procedures

1 Onions

2 Garlic

2 tb Oil

2 c Canned tomatoes

4 c Chicken broth

1 ts Salt

1 ts Pepper

1 tb Oregano

Servings: 2 Chop onion and crush garlic. Cook in oil until wilted. Add tomatoes and press through strainer. Mix with broth and bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt, pepper and oregano. Heat the chiles in boiling sauce for about five minutes. Barbara Zack
