The South Beach diet is a diet system invented by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Agatston invented this diet for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed analysis of scientific research on other weight loss studies.
Good foods include, lean beef, turkey bacon, clams, mozzarella cheese, pecan halves, lowfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, such as lentils, eggplant and snow peas.
