The low calorie diet

In a nutshell, a low calorie weight loss regime is based on the fact that if you intend to achieve weight loss, it is essential to eat fewer calories than you actually use.

What is a calorie?
The calorie is the standard unit for energy measurement in dieting. A 'calorie' is the amount of heat required to raise 1 kilogram of water 1 degree centigrade. If your meal has more calories, then it will turn into more energy to use when your body burns it.

Low-cal food types include bok choy, radishes, water melon, steaks, burgers and chilis, and eggs.
