Take it easy with highly hybridized fruits (bananas, seedless anything) and vegetables (carrots, beets, white potatoes).


Good food alone cannot make you healthy and happy. You also need sunshine (for vitamin D and strong biorhythms), moderate exercise, relaxation, and love. A daily walk outdoors will give you the first three. Use a water-filter and nontoxic household products (available from us & elsewhere). Get mercury fillings out of your teeth. Avoid drugs and manmade chemicals whenever possible. If your health remains poor, find a doctor who will search for the root causes, not suppress the symptoms with drugs and surgery.

21 1/2 ounces brownie mix

1 cup cherry pie filling

1/4 cup oil

2 egg whites -- whipped

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

2 cups vanilla ice cream -- lowfat

Preheat oven to 350. prepare a 13 x 9" pan with cooking spray and flour; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, cherry pie filling, oil and egg whites. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, spread when melted. TO SERVE: To serve, top each serving with low-fat vanilla ice cream and spoonful of remaining cherry pie filling. Me ke aloha, Mary
